Dell Loy Hansen, Founder and CEO
Dell Loy founded The Wasatch Group in 1988 on the heels of the nation's savings and loan crisis. He created the company by purchasing well-located multi-family apartment buildings in his hometown of Logan, Utah from Resolution Trust Corp., a federal government agency that seized assets from troubled financial institutions and resold the properties to bargain-seeking investors.
From that start, Dell Loy has grown the Wasatch Group to become a fully integrated real estate development, construction, property management and guarantee capital company, with holdings that include 16,344 apartments plus commercial properties with assets totaling $4 billion dollars, employing 900 associates.
